At Grindstone Neck of Maine, one of our primary concerns is your ability to place, track orders and access your order history with ease and comfort.
Convenient Ship "Hold Date" Function:
When ordering at check out, you have the option of choosing a specific shipping date most convenient to you. We gladly hold orders to a specific date in the future if you wish not to have your order shipped right away. Please note that we will not charge your credit card earlier than 7 days prior to your chosen shipping date.
Free Personalized Gift Cards:
When you enter a ship-to address that is different from your bill-to address, our system will automatically open a field for you to enter a message to that recipient, if your choose. We in turn when packing your order print the message on a handsome notecard that is packed with your order so your recipient will clearly know who the package is from. Many of our customers also choose to mail us their own giftcards which we will gladly pack with orders, free of charge. To facilitate this simply call us tool free1.866.831.8734 for arrangements.
Convenient Order Tracking:
Within seconds of your order leaving our shipping dock in Maine you will receive an email from our customer service group with shipping and tracking information. If you choose, we gladly email shipping notification and tracking information to your gift recipient to give them advance notice of your shipment to them.
Personal, Secure Account:
From the moment you register an online account with us you are able to review your complete ordering history with a click of your mouse for easy repeat future shipments or as a convenient reminder of orders placed in the past. Delivery Options:
If you place your order online or over the telephone by 1PM Maine time (EST) we are able to ship as early as the following business day. Using the calendar on the checkout page, indicate what day you wish us to ship your package. Delivery charges are based on total price of each ship-to address. Since all orders are shipped with either UPS or Fedex depending on destination, all shipments require a street address (sorry, no PO Boxes) and tel number. Continental US Delivery Options:
-Next Day Air Delivery. Charges are calculated per ship to address based on destination zip code
-Second Day Air Delivery. Charges are calculated per ship to address based on destination zip code.Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico:

"Stay Fresh Shippers" -- keeping your product safe and presentable:
We take pride in shipping handsomely packed product in the safest possible way. All of our perishable products are packed in vacuum pouches or re-useable tamper resistant containers. We ship all product in sturdy molded and reuseable CFC-FREE containers inside corrugated boxes for additional insulation and sturdiness. Depending on the weight of the package and the destination we evaluate each box individually and pack all perishable boxes with sufficient ice for the product to make the journey in perfect condition.
Wooden Gift Boxes:
When you send your order in a wooden gift box, we pack product inside the gift box with gift tissue. The gift is completed by a 2" ribbon wrapped around the center of the box. If you have a gift message for the gift box we slide the message card under the ribbon. Finally the gift box is packed securely inside the styrofoam shipper with ice packs. To protect the wooden gift box from condensation we wrap each icepack individually in white water-repelling butcher paper.
